Our Brazilian coffee has been around for five generations, with all of the fathers, mothers, sons, and in-laws committed throughout the years to the family tradition of coffee production. Now the baton has been passed to with Danilo Barbosa, and his sons, Vítor Marcelo and Sérgio Ricardo.
The story begins with our great-grandparent Elias Barbosa, back then, our specialty coffee was produced for our own family’s consumption, with everyone working in the fields, from the elders to the youngsters. The coffee production process is held dear to the family with everyone having direct contact with the farms.
These farms are located in Minas Gerais, just inside the Cerrado Region, Brazil's first coffee origin denomination, characterised by its altitude and climate. This region's soil, topography, and environment are excellent for coffee production. Along with the seasons which are well defined, and our farms have an average altitude of 1100 meters.
All the coffee is produced responsibly, both socially and environmentally. We want our coffee production to align with our beliefs and concerns with always striving to improve our performance, that is why we are certified by Rain Forest Alliance.
