A 1 day beginners course covering all aspects of espresso and espresso-based beverages.

You will learn how to brew the perfect espresso with recipes and grinder calibration. Milk technique, basic milk pouring, and latte art are covered to give you the perfect cup.

Course Information

Course Length:
1-day course, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (GMT), including a break for lunch. We ask that students arrive at least 10min prior.

None; Introduction to Coffee recommended 

Only those having more than 1 year of speciality barista experience should opt-out of taking this course.

Class instructor:
Kylie Robinson is an Australian coffee professional with 20 years of experience, covering all aspects of specialty coffee, including barista competition judging, latte art, and Coffee in Good Spirits.

Food and refreshments provided:
For in-person training, food and refreshments will be provided on the day, if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies just let us know once you have booked the course and received the confirmation email.

Written Exam Information

Total Number of Questions on Online Written Exam: 20 (worth one point each) 
Total Time Allowed for Online Written Exam: 32 minutes 
Passing Score (Online Written Exam): 60% 

There is a practical exam, as well as a written exam. A link to the online written exam will be sent after completing the course.
